Derek Godfrey was born in Enfield on 7th August 1945, and sadly passed away on 22nd August 2012. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.

Thoughts
Dad, wow 12 years. We lost you too soon, not fair. Emily is a ridiculous 22 years old now, and finished uni with a 2.1 in Law! She’s now job hunting. Mia is doing well at big school, and in county for netball, now bigger than her mum!! Jude is still funny, and has been studying for his 11+ (think the potential for an x box is motivating him!) the exam is in a couple of weeks. I’m ok, getting a bit old myself now.

Love you Dad, thinking of you often, but especially today. Ems is off to uni soon! You’d be proud of her, mia and Jude are getting big! Mia is 10, and getting ready for her 11 plus, full of beans, loves her gymnastics, Jude is funny you’d like him - cheeky chappy, but cracks on with life, loves his rugby and Pokémon!
